Shortly following, we strolled through Cubbon Park, which I had been wanting to do since I arrived, considering that it’s so close to where I’ve been staying, and apparently filled with natural, green, smogfree beauty. It certainly did not disappoint. Rainy beauty was abound, as were two transvestites decked out in saris, both of which waved and catcalled, one of which groped my arm as I passed. My apologies, but I was shamelessly too excited (read: petrified) to snap a picture.Tucked within Cubbon Park is the State Library, which must have been closed, as we could simply not find an entrance. A lot of the buildings in Cubbon Park are the same deep red color. It offers quite a contrast to the surrounding green.
