Balls to the wall surrealist nightmare. If only Wilkes-Barre actually looked like this, it might not be so awful.
This one’s a little too grainy for my taste.
About all three: those four glares right in the middle of the frame irritate me, but whatever. I’ll work on that.

A slightly down-to-earth feel. Nothing too wild.

Today, in the bitter cold, I drove around Wilkes-Barre taking photographs.

The following three photos (HDR-processed) made everything worth it.

More experimenting with HDR — the Christmas tree at my dad’s house, surrounded by junk and hunting gear.
This one was made from three separate exposures, unlike the previous experiment, which was created from one shot with three digitally altered exposures. I’m really thrilled about this HDR pic because it came out looking more like an illustration than a photo.
While I’m biding my time in Wilkes-Barre (goodbye LA, I miss you already!), I’ll be posting many more of these.
